Saw them in Vegas...best fucking show I have seen in a long time and by far the most entertaining evening I had on that trip...outside the hotel room anyway.

This is why I'm having a blast with MD 20/20. All covers and all fun...If you would have told me 10 years ago I'd be playing George Lynch and Akira Takasaki solos in a cover band I would have told you to put the pipe down....

Even I said, "If you're having fun, that's all that matters." If you think there is something more to that quote, you should take a timeout. Preferably at a bar. The first round is on me.........when I can afford it again.

Amazing show last night!
Cops came twice due to noise complaints but it was a kick ass time and all the bands fucking killed it.
Nate was there playing with American Bastard...had no clue he was in the band until he approached Christian to say hello.
We raised $1000 ($700 net) for the benefit and I won a $300 window tinting in the raffle. Gonna get the LeMans tinted in time for the Rod Run...hell yes!

Cops were everywhere last night, it seems. Kind of cool that Nate is in American Bastard. They were on a triple bill with Apophis Theory and Jar Of Lies last year. That was a fun show.

It was a fun show! Afterwards, I got too drunk and apparently ripped off a power cord from the sound guy. Oops.
It's funny that the mention of the dreaded "cover tunes" got everyone riled. Like Jake said, it was only for fun. Though I admit, I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would ever play a Poison song live. 
Anyway, it was a fun gig and a good time was had by all. That's what counts! 
EDIT: Oh yeah I almost didn't recognize Nate with his long-haired look!

You're confusing "getting riled" with "just giving you shit". Remember, you were being criticized for cover tunes by a guy that was in a band that had a FIREPLACE for a stage prop. Although, it is funny that you played a Poison song. You really will do anything to play live these days.
I've known Nate since 1992. I recognize him better with the long hair.
