About 12 Gauge Fuse12 Gauge Fuse is on a mission to create hard rock music that is powerful enough to hit you up side the head seeing stars then to break into a groove that is melodic to bring you to your senses. After a year of searching for the right fit, Jason Sacks connected with Dave Nudo (vocals) and Warren Taylor (Guitar) on Craigslist in March of 2005 to start a new musical project. Dave made the journey down to Salem and brought his friend Mark Lyons who joined as the Drummer. Jason had a full set of music written and was expecting just to find a singer to start working on that set. After they jammed Jason decided to throw most of it out once he saw immediately the chemistry and vibe that was happening. After a short time Warren left for Atlanta and caused the make up and style of the band to start the change. Where this might cause problems in a band just starting out, the cohesiveness and viability was saved by Jim Grieve a talented bassist that auditioned and was immediately asked to join.
After just four months of playing together and getting a rough start with limited jam spaces, difficulty finding members and some mixed feedback the band stuck together and made it out sounding great! Ask Jason how it is going and he will tell you “We all get along great, I was fortunate to fund these talented guys. We can’t wait to start playing shows regularly and show everyone what we are made of” So keep your eyes out for this new addition to the Portland Hard Rock scene!
